In this day and age, it seems as though so many are ready to fly off the handle, and act irresponsibly, at the drop of a hat, over some perceived injustice. Without thinking about the possible devastating results of their actions. And what it could mean to their future, as in loss of freedom, serious injury, or even the destruction of people, or property. Sometimes there may be justification for what they've done, but usually not.
It is sad when children are injured, maimed, or killed. The younger, the sadder, because in most cases, what could they possibly have done to bring about such actions? Babies cry, children scream, holler, and tear about, never realizing how aggravating and annoying they may be. They are children, how could they?
But adults are supposed to know better, why does it seem like so many do not? To wreak havoc on innocents, and valuable properties, without a thought. What about the long range consequences of looting, burning, shooting and killing? A normal, logical person would not knowingly do something like that on a whim. I don't know a lot about the situation, and probably the young man deserved better.
Things like this make me wonder about the future of this country. We don't seem to be concerned enough about our own well-being. We need to raise our children properly, monitor their Internet usage, the acquaintances they keep, and what they do in their spare time. As parents it is our job to see to their proper upbringing, and present responsible, caring, and good, people to the world. Just my thoughts, out here in the country.
